On February 6th 2008 the Friends of Priory Park held a short wreath laying ceremony at the Duncan Edwards Statue in Dudley Town Centre. Representatives from Friends of Priory Park together with the Duncan Edwards Junior football teams and close family were in attendance.
On February 21st 2008 (the 50th anniversary of his death) there will be a remembrance service for Duncan which will also take place by the statue in Dudley Town Centre. This will start at 11:00am and will be led by the Rev Geoff Johnston from St Francis Church and Dudley Mayor David Stanley.
